Because I live in England I don't usually get to celebrate the Fourth of July, but this year I decided I was going to. I drew a flag on my garden wall, spent the day sunbathing, made some awesome food, and lit some sparklers. Just because I live in another place doesn't make me any less proud of my country, what we've accomplished, and the sacrifices many have made. Don't get me wrong, we've still got a lot of work to do but I am still happy to say I'm American. I hope everyone back home had an amazing Independence Day!
**I also made an awesome cheesecake. Check out my Instagram and have a look. If you'd like to try it, I'll be posting the recipe later this week!
